Speciality Projects

Special Projects division is involved in carrying out Power station lighting, Stadia lighting, Illumination of monuments using computer controlled and colour changer lighting systems, fibre optics lighting, son-et-lumiere projects etc.

The key strength area of this BU is its specialization in Sports Stadium Lighting. This BU has lighted up the Bangalore Cricket Stadium, and has further followed up with the lighting of Kanpur Cricket Stadium, Sawai Maan Singh cricket stadium at Jaipur as well as the Rajiv Gandhi cricket stadium, Hyderabad for international cricket matches and the Maharni Usha Raje International Cricket Stadium at Indore. All the 8 stadiums at Hyderabad for National Games, 2002, National Games 2007 at Guwahati and Ranchi National Games 2008 have been done by Bajaj. The flood lighting of the new Balewadi Stadium in Pune, the Centre for the Youth Common Wealth Games, 2008 was also lit by Bajaj.

Bajaj E & P division is also contributing to Rural Electrification wherein it has received an order by National Electric Supply Company Limited, (NESCL) under the Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Viyutikaran Yojana. Under this over 6 Lakhs BPL (below poverty line) homes will be provided with the necessary metering kit and one 11W CFL Energy Saving Lamp thus lighting up remote villages of West Bengal, Orissa and Chhattisgarh.
