Haldi Ka Doodh (Turmeric Milk)

Ingredients:
- Fresh turmeric, peeled – 1
- Unsweetened full fat almond/coconut milk – 2 ½ cups
- Cinnamon stick -- 1
- Cinnamon powder (for garnishing) – ¼ tsp
- Fresh ginger, grated – 1 ½ inch
- Black pepper – A pinch
- Maple syrup/honey – As per taste

Method:
Step 1: Put turmeric in a Bajaj Mixer Grinder and churn it. Bajaj Electricals has come up with its new ‘Nutri-Pro’ feature that retains the nutritional content and authentic taste of the ingredients, regardless of the speed levels they are mixed at.
Step 2: Pour the milk in a saucepan. Add cinnamon stick, ginger and black pepper.
Step 3: Add the freshly ground turmeric paste into the pan.
Step 4: Allow it to cook by stirring continuously until warm. Do not let it boil at this stage.
Step 5: Add honey as per taste. If you do not prefer honey, you can also add sugar.
Step 6: Strain the mixture into serving cups and garnish with some cinnamon powder.
