Ingredients

  • Chickpea flour (besan)
  • Rice flour
  • Salt
  • Cumin seeds
  • Coriander powder
  • Red chilli powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Water
  • Potatoes (peeled and sliced)
  • Onion (thinly sliced)
  • Spinach (chopped)
  • Oil (for frying)


Steps to make

  • Mix baking powder, red chilli powder, salt, cumin seeds and besan in a bowl.
  • Add water to the mixture and create a thick batter.
  • Add spinach, potatoes, sliced onions, and green chilli into the batter and mix it well.
  • Find your best non-stick pan like Nirlep non-stick Kadhai and pre-heat it over medium heat.
  • Add oil to the pan.
  • Drop tiny amounts of batter into hot oil with a spoon.
  • Fry the pakoras until they become golden brown.
  • Serve hot with ketchup or chutney. 

  1. Chicken Biryani

Chicken Biryani is a classic dish that is loved by many. It is a flavourful mix of rice, chicken and spices that will leave you wanting more. Chicken biryani is a perfect meal that can make you feel full for hours as well. That’s why most people prefer to enjoy this as a fasting food.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Basmati rice
  • 1 lb. of chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. of ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp. of cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp. of coriander powder
  • 1 tsp. of turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp. of red chili powder
  • 1/2 cup of yogurt
  • Salt, to taste
  • Oil, for frying


Steps for making

  • To make Chicken Biryani, first, soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.
  • In Nirlep Fry Pan, fry the chicken pieces until they are golden brown.
  • Then, in the same pan, fry the onion until it is translucent.
  • Add the tomatoes and ginger-garlic paste and cook until the tomatoes are soft. Add the cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Add the fried chicken and yogurt to the mixture and cook until the chicken is cooked through. In a separate pot, boil the rice in Nirlep Handi until it is half-cooked.
  • Layer the rice and chicken mixture in Nirlep Casserole and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
  • Now, gather your loved ones around the table and savour the aromatic flavours of this chicken biryani dish together.

Mutton Haleem is a hearty dish that is perfect for iftar. It is a stew made with mutton, lentils, and wheat that is slow cooked to perfection. If you are a fan of tender meat, mutton haleem is a great option available to try.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. of mutton, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup of wheat, soaked overnight
  • 1/2 cup of lentils, soaked for 2 hours
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. of ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp. of cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp. of coriander powder
  • 1 tsp. of turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp. of red chili powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Oil, for frying


Steps for making

  • To make Mutton Haleem, first, fry the mutton pieces in the Nirlep Fry Pan until they are golden brown.
  • In a separate pan, fry the onion until it is translucent.
  • Add the tomatoes and ginger-garlic paste and cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  • Add the cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder, and cook for another 2 minutes within Nirlep Handi.
  • Add the soaked wheat and lentils to the mixture and cook on low heat for 2-3 hours.
  • Use a hand blender to blend the mixture into a smooth consistency.
  • Add the fried mutton to the mixture in the Handi and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
  • Later, serve up a piping hot bowl of mutton haleem and bond with your loved ones over its rich and hearty flavours for a truly special dining experience. 

 

  1. Kheeme ke Samose

Kheeme ke Samose is a savoury snack that is perfect for breaking the fast. It is a fried pastry filled with spiced ground meat. It’s time to elevate your iftar game with these mouth-watering Kheeme ke Samose and indulge in a snack that's as exciting and delicious as the celebration itself!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 16-20 samosa wrappers
  • Oil for deep frying


Steps for making

  • Heat Nirlep non-stick fry pan and add vegetable oil.
  • Add onion and cook until soft and translucent.
  • Add ginger and garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • Add ground beef and cook until brown.
  • Add cumin, coriander, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for a few more minutes.
  • Let the mixture cool.
  • Take one samosa wrapper and fold it into a cone shape. Fill the cone with the meat mixture and seal the edges.
  • Repeat with the remaining wrappers.
  • Heat oil in a deep-frying pan and fry the samosas until golden brown.
  • Serve hot with mint chutney.

Dahi Vade is a popular dish during Ramadan. It is a savoury snack made with lentil fritters served with yogurt and tamarind chutney. Make sure that you are using the best non-stick frying pan to prepare Dahi Vade and get amazing results.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup urad dal
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 2 cups yogurt

Steps for making

  • Soak urad dal in water for 2-3 hours.
  • Drain the water and blend the dal into a smooth paste.
  • Add cumin seeds and salt to the paste and mix well.

  • Take a spoonful of the dal paste and drop it into the hot oil.
  • Fry until golden brown and drain on a paper towel.
  • Soak the fritters in water for 30 minutes.
  • Beat the yogurt with sugar and salt.
  • Squeeze the water out of the fritters and add them to the yogurt mixture.
  • Serve with tamarind chutney and garnish with coriander
