Mango Pachadi Recip

Ingredients Required

  • 3 cup Raw Mango
  • Salt as required
  • 3 teaspoon Neem Leaves
  • 2 teaspoon Ghee
  • 2 pinch Asafoetida
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 2 teaspoon refined Oil
  • 2 cup Jaggery
  • 4 Red Chilies

Time to prepare the Mango Pachadi

  1. Peel and chop the mangoes
To begin with, peel the skin of the mangoes. Then, chop the mangoes in a bowl and keep them aside.
  2. Mix jaggery and mangoes
Take a large pan, turn on the flame to medium and add mango pieces to it along with some water. You can use the Nirlep’s induction-compatible deep fry pan for an effortless non-stick cooking experience. Allow the mangoes to cook for a few minutes. Then, add jaggery and salt to the pan and bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Prepare the tempering
Take a fresh pan, turn the flame to low and heat some refined oil in it. Add the mustard seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds.
  4. Prepare the Mango Pachadi
Add asafoetida, neem leaves, red chilies to the tempering and add them into the mango mixture; allow them to cook for another few minutes while stirring occasionally. Once the ingredients have blended well, turn off the flame and your Mango Pachadi is now ready to be served.

Serve warm and relish together with friends & family!

Happy Puthandu :-)
