With a world-class tower manufacturing facility, Bajaj’s TLT division has more than 15 years of experience in executing turnkey projects in the field of extra high voltage (EHV) transmission lines. It has completed over 1700 kms of transmission lines across 19 states. Equipped with a team of experts, BEL offers engineering, designing, testing, manufacturing and executing solutions from concept to commissioning of EHV transmission lines up to 765 kV AC / +- 800 kV HVDC on turnkey basis. This BU has been approved by PGCIL, APTRANSCO, MSETCL, TNEB, GETCO, RRVPNL, KPTCL, BHEL, NPCIL, Techno Electric, TATA Power, BSNL, ITIL, railways and more, which shows its adherence to stringent quality standards. Bajaj Power Transmission EPC segment has worked in some demanding geographies (hilly terrains, forests and river crossings) for some reputed clientele, which goes on to show its expertise in this sector. This BU has successfully completed more than 275 kms of 132 kV / 220 kV / 400 kV transmission lines for PGCIL and other state electricity boards on total turnkey basis. Also, it has supplied more than 75000 MT of 220 kV / 400 kV / 765 kV transmission line towers in addition to the supply of Telecom Towers for different wind zones for BSNL, ITIL, GTL, IDEA and other telecom agencies. With a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ranjangaon, Pune, Maharashtra, the BU is capable of producing 33,000 MT per annum of tower. BEL has been rewarded with the best rating for excellence in transmission line execution by India’s central power utility - PGCIL in the years 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, which goes on to prove its expertise in this segment.
